(90 x 72 cm). Original heliozincographed folding map. The map is printed on paper, dissected, mounted on linen and folds between blue cloth boards with gilt titles to upper cover. Cream paper to folded-end-section with '1938' written in blue ink. Shows extents from the southern border of Nepal with Katmandu in the north to the Bay of Bengal with Calcutta in the south and from Benares (Varanasi) in the west to the western border of Bhutan in the east. Key inset. Scale: 16 miles to an inch. Boards rubbed in places. Map in very good condition.
