FIRST EDITION. LIMITED EDITION (110 copies). Folio. 46 x 32 cm. pp. vii+83. Original rust red buckram, titled in gilt to upper cover and spine. Etched pictorial title and 41 tipped plates printed by F. Goulding. Binding slightly rubbed and scuffed but still very good, contents very clean and fresh. Overall an excellent copy.

F. Goulding not only printed these fine etchings, but also the illustrations for Senior's superb "The Thames from Oxford to the Tower". He also worked for Samuel Palmer and James Abbott McNeill Whistler - inter alia another great Thames/Chelsea artist.
