Overall sheet size 47 x 31.5 cm. Original outline colour. Two central panels. The upper panel divided into four sections each with a map, they show: the Dutch Antilles, Curaçao, St. Maarten (also (St. Martin) with Saba and another more general map of the same islands with others in the vicinity. Beneath this a profile view of the coastline of Curaçao. The lower panel being a map of the upper part of Surinam, accompanied by two small inset maps of the whole of the country and a plan of Paramaribo. Beneath the map a view of a Dutch plantation. Eight vignettes to the side margins with illustrations of costumes and wildlife. Left edge trimmed close, just affecting one of the vignettes. Sam emnargin with minor creasing, otherwise good.
