[DRAYTON, Michael].

Flintshyre [with] Denbighshyre.
[London: printed by Iohn Marriott, Iohn Grismand, And Thomas Dewe. 1622].

24.9 x 32.8 cm. Uncoloured. Double page map. Blank on verso. Attractive map of north east Wales. The principal towns of Wrexham, Conway and Ruthin are represented with allegorical female figures. Many other illustrations scattered across the map, the rivers accompanied by illustrations of water nymphs. Expert restoration to margins in places, nevertheless a good example.

From the first edition, third issue of Drayton's series of county maps.
