Lauriat [Booksellers] Boston, with their neat stamps to front endpapers, in half red morocco over marbled boards, spines wioth raised bands gilt, gilt lettered direct with single gilt floral device between the bands, t.e.g.. Illustrations by the author throughout, both full page and in the text. Minute chip to head of one spine (vol.24), tiny invisible repair to device in top compartment of one other (vol.23), otherwise verging on the immaculate. A most handsome set.
All volumes dated 1869 except the last two (1886), as often.
