A re-issue of Houghton's magazine (1692-1703) which contains some of the earliest description of dealings in stocks. See especially issues Nos.98 - 103 June 15 - July 20 1694 [Vol. I pp261-296] These issues explain the history of stock-jobbing and the different types of dealing in stocks including the form of contract for refuse of shares, the manner of putting stock, and buying and selling for time. The fourth volume has the alternative title "Husbandry and trade Improv'd"
