Folio, 43 x 28 cm. Ruled in red throughout. Contemporary black calf, gilt decorated, old ownership name of John Torless in gilt to upper cover. 5 double-page maps* and 240 plates comprising 2 frontispieces, and plates 1-154 in the OT + 84 in the NT, the great majority of the plates printed back to back except 22 in the OT and 2 in the NT. Very worn, upper cover detached, 2 maps torn although without significant loss, several plates loose and many with marginal tears etc. Restorable - but requiring a love of labour. Seemingly complete but sold with all faults.
